The TESRenewal project has released a brand new video showcasing their progress at turning Skyrim into Morrowing so far, and it's looking pretty swell.

The Revive trailer focuses on the new things that version 0.9.6 adds to the Skywind initiative, highlighting many of the steps taken toward making the world real and more accommodating. The latest update added a bunch of architectural and environmental 3D assets, contributing to a better fleshed-out game world.

Skywind is a total conversion of Bethesda's acclaimed role-playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, aiming to recreate the world and the entirety of the content found in The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind on the superior engine, and enable passionate gamers to relive one of their favorite experiences once more.

The project is a very ambitious undertaking, and considering that the team consists entirely of volunteering community members who are working on it in their spare time, it's going to be a long while until it's finished.

As always, the team is looking for more talent to help them achieve their goals. Right now, the 3D artist team is looking for experienced members to help them get the 3D environments done. Furthermore, they are also looking for experienced Skyrim modders to assist with new spells, landscaping and a ton of other assorted jobs.

If you're interested in joining the collective effort, you can head over to the TESRenewal project page and volunteer to help out.
