There should be less freezes and crashes thanks to the new mod

A brand new mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just been released, allowing the game to use a PC's RAM in a more efficient manner, meaning it becomes more stable and other modifications that generate bigger conflicts or battles between non-playable characters are possible.

Skyrim came out back in 2011 and, like any Bethesda title, it allowed users to modify its contents and create all sorts of crazy things.

Now, even after three years, modders are still hard at work and have revealed a special tweak that changes the way the game interacts with a PC's RAM.

While the regular Skyrim can use only 4GB of RAM in 256MB blocks, the mod allows blocks of 1GB to be used, leading to improved stability and less restrictions in terms of performance.

All the details can be found on the ENB website.
