The 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards take place tomorrow, December 10, and just at the last moment both Electronic Arts and Square Enix have confirmed that they’ll debut new trailers for Mass Effect 3 and Hitman Absolution, respectively, during the event.

The 2011 VGAs will be the place where quite a lot of reveals will take place, from a new Alan Wake game, to the presentation of all new projects coming from studios like BioWare or Epic Games. Throw in the announcement of a new PlayStation 3 title, which might be The Last of Us, and it’s looking set to be an evening that will delight lots of gamers.

Now, EA has confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will also be getting a new trailer tomorrow, after the game was initially presented during the 2010 VGAs last year. Square Enix joins the event as well, this time with a special video of its upcoming Hitman Absolution title, which was announced earlier this year.

No other details were given, but we can expect plenty of concrete details Saturday evening, when the 2011 Video Game Awards will air on Spike TV.
