Video game developer BioWare says that it is ready to deploy a new patch for its action and role-playing mix Mass Effect 3 today on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Gamers who use the Microsoft console to play Mass Effect 3 should have access to the patch at any moment, while those who prefer the PS3 will have to wait another hour to download it.

PC players will also get access to the new patch at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.

The official post on the game forums also lists the main changes for the patch:

- Fixed a multiplayer issue where users could have all of their weapons use rocket ammunition. - Fixed an issue with high memory usage when initializing DLCs.

Most fans see the launch of a new patch as confirmation that previously rumored new downloadable content for the game will soon be revealed and launched.
