The development team at EA Sports is preparing to launch a title update for their American football simulation Madden NFL 13 on November 29, designed to add a number of new features to the Ultimate Team game mode and fix some issues with the core game mechanics.

The biggest addition is the ability to create up to five line-ups for the Ultimate Team squad and there are also new options linked to roster management, allowing players to sort using specific positions, like offensive line.

Joystiq has a full list of the changes, with a representative from EA Sports stating, “What we're really striving for is aiming these title updates not just at bug fixes, but adding brand-new content so people feel like they're constantly getting a new game experience.”

The title update will be offered on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 at the same time.
