Developer NetherRealm Studios says that it is planning to reveal a new character for its fighting title Injustice: Gods Among Us on Sunday, just before the finals of the EVO 2013 event that takes place in Las Vegas.

According to Shoryuken, a new trailer is being planned and the new downloadable content will be shown, revealing the identity of the fifth combatant that will be delivered after launch.

So far, fans of the experience, which uses characters from the DC Comic universe, have been able to buy and download Lobo, Barbara Gordon as Batgirl, Scorpion and General Zod.

There are also alternate costumes to try out and all the DLC was covered by a season pass.

Fan demand has convinced NetherRealm to create a fifth new fighter for Injustice: Gods Among Us, although no hints have yet been offered about his identity.
