The development team at Ubisoft in charge of Far Cry 3 says that it is currently working on a new patch for the shooter that will allow players to choose which elements of the Heads Up Display and the user interface to keep and which to turn off.A Ubisoft developer tells Kotaku that, “Based on feedback from both press and fans, the Far Cry 3 production team is working on a patch that will allow you to toggle most HUD/UI elements based on player preference. The patch will also avoid issues encountered in the .dll hack that might create a mission walkthrough break (missing QTE prompts, critical information, etc;).”
The company promises more news soon but there’s no clear date for launch at the moment.
Far Cry 3 recently received patch 1.02, which fixes many stability problems and improves matchmaking.
