BioWare has just confirmed this weekend's special multiplayer event in Dragon Age: Inquisition, once again tasking fans with completing a special challenge in exchange for cool rewards, this time around focusing on gold medals earned after combat for great results.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launched in November of last year and delivered not just a solid single-player story campaign, but also a pretty intense cooperative multiplayer mode that tasked fans with working together and making their way into environments filled with enemies.

In order to keep fans interested in the online mode, the studio keeps organizing special multiplayer challenge weekends, offering special rewards to the community in exchange for reaching various goals in the game.

Now, between March 27 and March 30, BioWare is once again focusing on golden medals, as players will have to reach certain thresholds in a match in order to unlock gold-level commendations, according to the official Twitter.

The individual goal for each player is reaching 20 medals, while the community overall must reach 90,000 unlocked medals, at least on the PC platform, as objectives for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One haven't been confirmed by the studio.

Completing the singular goal brings a free commendation chest, while unlocking the community one will net players a victory chest with lots of great gear, weapons, and consumables.
