The development team working on the new Command & Conquer strategy says that it will create a progression system that rewards gamers who are ready to spend time with the game rather than those who are interested in paying.

Bryan Farina, a producer working on the title, writes as part of a wider Questions & Answers session that, "We reward more for winning and reward more for playing multiplayer (1v1, team, or mode-based) as opposed to solo skirmish."

He says that Victory Games will balance the experience of Command & Conquer once it is launched and that, "we are being very careful to NOT create any 'pay to win' situations."

The new Command & Conquer strategy title is designed to use a free-to-play business model and will allow gamers to choose one of three factions and then engage in skirmishes with a wider community or cooperate in single player missions.
