Rocksteady has finally delivered a patch for Batman: Arkham City on the PC platform that promises to fix the ongoing save game corruption issues that have stopped the progress of many players, forcing them to start the story all over again.

Batman: Arkham City impressed millions of people late last year with a top notch story, great gameplay and impressive graphics.

Sadly, the game’s PC version wasn’t the best, as it suffered from performance issues even on high end PCs, a problem that was solved with an update, as well as from save game corruption, which has been going on for quite a while.

Now, developer Rocksteady has finally released an update for the game that promises to eliminate any problems with save game files.

Besides this, issues with the graphics as well as with custom video card setups like Crossfire or SLI have been solved, while improvements were made to certain areas like cut scenes.

The patch is currently available on the PC via Steam, but versions for the Games for Windows Live and Origin editions are coming soon.
