The development team at Cryptic is getting ready to launch a new update for its MMO Neverwinter called Shadowmantle, which will introduce a new Shadow Hunter class for players to use while also opening up more areas of the world to explore.

Polygon says that the new class was the most requested by the player community and is designed to appeal to those gamers who want solid ranged attacks, but also plenty of options to battle enemies hand to hand.

All gamers will get access to a new Paragon Path, which offers new ways for the characters to progress when they reach level 30 in the MMO.

The game is also getting a new item class called Artifacts, better companions and an upgrade for the user interface.

Neverwinter is a free-to-play game and everything included in Shadowmantle will be offered free of charge to all interested players.
