Need for Speed: Most Wanted developer Criterion Games has revealed that the different DLC packs released for the game on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms could appear for the Wii U edition of the game if it's supported by fans.

The Need for Speed: Most Wanted reboot is out this week on the Wii U platform, after appearing on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 ones last year.

While the game includes the special Ultimate Speed DLC as standard, it doesn't have the three most recent add-ons, in the form of Terminal Velocity, Movie Legends, and NFS Heroes.

In a conversation with a fan on Twitter, Criterion boss Alex Ward told him that the DLCs could be released on the Wii U if enough fans buy the game on that platform.

As such, if plenty of people support the impressive racing game on the Wii U, the add-ons, which include new cars and locations, will make its way onto the Nintendo console.
