Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, the co-presidents of Naughty Dog, have issued a new statement which aims to make it clear that Amy Henning was not forced out of the company by Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, as was rumored previously during the week.

The two executives state on the company site that, "Normally, we wouldn’t respond to rumors and speculation on matters that are internal to Naughty Dog, but because the personal reputation of two of our employees is being damaged we needed to set the record straight. There is nothing left to be said on this subject."

The pair says that the entire studio is focused on the creation of video games and that it will no longer comment on any other info about Amy Henning and her relationship with the company.

The former developer has not yet offered an official point of view on her departure from Naughty Dog.

Earlier during the week Screen Games announced that it was working on a live action movie adaptation of The Last of Us, which will involve a lot of input from the studio.

Naughty Dog is also working on a new Uncharted title for the PlayStation 4 and rumors also talk about a sequel for The Last of Us being in development.
