NBA Live 15 might not be the best basketball sim on the market, but the developers at EA Sports want to keep the game relevant, quickly reacting to the announcement that Rajon Rondo is moving from the Boston Celtics to the Dallas Mavericks.

The official Twitter account of the game offers a picture of the virtual version of the player wearing his new jersey.

Rajon Rondo, an All-Star point guard, alongside forward Dwight Powell, is moving to Dallas just as Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson, and some draft picks are going to Boston in return.

The player himself has stated on the social service that he is aiming to build something special at his new team, even if he is happy with his performance at the Celtics.

NBA Live 15 has recently received a solid update which introduces more than 400 improvements, including a range of new player faces and changes to the core gameplay, all based on the feedback coming from the community.

EA Sports was forced to cancel an entry in its series because of quality concerns, but the new NBA Live 15 has been offering a good experience, and next year the company might deliver an even better package capable of challenging NBA 2K15.
