The final act of the real world National Basketball Association championship is upon us and the development team at EA Sports in charge of NBA Live 15 is delivering a new and probably final set of player rating tweaks for the simulation in order to improve the experience that fans can get when playing the matches.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors are playing for the title, and the studio is using data from the Synergy Sports company to try and bring virtual player performance as close to the real world as possible.

James Harden from the Houston Rockets has received an improved overall rating boost to 90 because he managed to perform well in the five-game series even if his team was defeated.

J.R. Smith is also improved in NBA Live 15, with an overall rating of 82, which is linked to the fact that he scored 28 points in the first game of the series and continued to contribute to his team's performance after that.

The full set of tweaks for player characteristics can be seen in an official document, which EA Sports says contains more than 500 tweaks.

NBA Live 16 is at the moment in development, set to be launched in the fall of this year with major gameplay improvements.
