The development team at EA Sports is delivering a host of new videos linked to its upcoming NBA Live 14, designed to teach players how to best use the new dribbling mechanics introduced by the basketball sim.

In an official post that includes quite a bit of information, the team explains that it wants a system that emphasizes the skill of the athletes and the ability of the player to direct them.

EA Sports says, "The driving force behind your success rests on the defender having to arrest his momentum before he can recover and chase you. This takes time and gives you as a dribbler the time (and space) to beat him."

There are more videos that give clear examples of the kind of gameplay that NBA Live 14 will offer.

The game is powered by the Ignite engine and will be launched on November 19 on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
