The game will offer four full game modes linked to the NBA franchise

Publisher 2K Games and online operator Tencent Games have announced that NBA 2K Online will be launched on the Chinese market on October 24, allowing players from the country to play a complex NBA simulation that offers four game modes.

NBA Mode will allow gamers to create an avatar and join a team, Free and Street modes are focused on team-based play while the new Legends Mode will allow players to group into teams of five and challenge the most important teams in the history of the NBA.

Jason Argent, the vice president of marketing for 2K Sports, stated, “We’re extremely excited about the progress that Tencent and Visual Concepts have made with NBA 2K Online.”

He added, “This milestone is a significant achievement for both teams, and the game has already received some very positive responses from players. We’re looking forward to the brand’s continued growth in Asia.”

The core NBA 2K13 title will also be launched worldwide during October.
