Buy easier fatalities for the game via microtransactions

Barely has Mortal Kombat X been released worldwide across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, and developer NetherRealm has already begun selling downloadable content packs for the fighting game. However, in exchange for your microtransactions, instead of getting skins or fighters, you get easier fatality moves.

Mortal Kombat X has been a long time coming, and developer NetherRealm has hyped up its extensive fighting mechanics over the last few months in plenty of videos, focusing a lot on the trademark fatality moves that let players dismember their opponents after winning a match.

These moves usually require a series of button combinations that must be made within a short amount of time to have the desired effect, adding an extra requirement of skill on top of just beating your foe.

However, it seems that NetherRealm has added a series of easier fatalities inside the game. In exchange for 1 USD/EUR, you can buy five such easier fatalities that have "simplified inputs" but for 5 USD/EUR you can get 30 of them.

The DLC packs are already available on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but they're missing, at least for now, on PC.

As of yet, neither NetherRealm nor Warner Bros. has talked about these pretty surprising DLC packs for Mortal Kombat X.
