Mortal Kombat X is at the moment a hit on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC but it seems that those who were planning to experience the new fighting game on older devices will have to wait more than initially expected.

The title was supposed to be introduced on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 this month but GameStop employees quoted by Kotaku are saying that the date has now been moved to the fall of this year, although a clear day has not been chosen.

Warner Bros. has not yet offered an official comment on the launch window for the version of Mortal Kombat X for older hardware.

The publisher might have decided to simply focus on the already launched versions of the experience or if some of them will be eliminated because of the limited hardware.

it's unclear whether owners of the Xbox 360 and the PS3 will get the same features for the title that is available at the moment on the new Sony and Microsoft devices.

At the moment, the development team at NetherRealms is focused on the development of downloadable content packs for Mortal Kombat X, which are designed to include new characters and also better balance the already existing ones.
