The development team working on the Xbox 360 version of indie hit Minecraft announces that it plans to introduce a vast array of features taken from the PC, including emeralds, anvils, carrots and more NPC interaction.

Eurogamer says that Title Update 14 is designed to allow players to create more elaborate game worlds and that emeralds are a major building block that will be useful for complex structures.

Anvils are designed to allow players to repair items and combine enchantments, significantly expanding their options for item creation.

Fans of Minecraft on the Xbox 360 will also get access to tripwires, carpets, nether quartz, carrots, potatoes, pumpkin pies and Ender Chests.

Title Update 14 does not yet have an official launch date.

The team is also working on versions of Minecraft that will be launched this year on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
