Minecraft for Xbox 360 won't receive Title Update 12 this month, as developer 4J Studios still has a lot more work to do on the big patch for the game.

Minecraft's Xbox 360 version became an instant hit one year ago when it came out for Microsoft's console and, since then, developer 4J Studios has continuously updated the game with bug fixes, as well as lots of new content.

After teasing some of the things included in Minecraft for Xbox 360 Title Update 12, 4J has mentioned on Twitter that the patch won't be ready for release this month.

As such, owners of Minecraft on the Xbox 360 need to wait until July to be able to download the new title update for the game.

Among the new things included in the patch are redstone blocks or jungle environments, so 4J needs to do a lot of testing to make sure these things blend smoothly with existing content.
