Minecraft console developer 4J Studios confirms that it's working on a fix for a recent problem that's happening in Minecraft on the Xbox One, which causes animals to fly while playing in offline splitscreen mode.

Minecraft is one of the most popular video game experiences nowadays, with tens of millions of fans across all sorts of platforms, from PC to consoles, mobile devices, and more.

Earlier this week, console team 4J Studios rolled out a small patch for Minecraft across platforms like PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, or Xbox One, bringing a few bug fixes and enhancing a few mechanics.

Unfortunately for Xbox One users, the patch also added a brand new glitch, albeit a hilarious one. If people entered an offline splitscreen experience in Minecraft on the Xbox One, slowly but surely the animals began to fly around.

4J Studios confirms on Twitter that this "feature" is going to be eliminated quite soon from the game, so fans shouldn't worry about their animals flying around when playing with friends in the splitscreen mode while offline.

It's unclear when the solution is actually going to appear, however, so expect to hear a bit more from 4J Studios about the new Minecraft Xbox One patch soon enough.
