After the phenomenal success of Minecraft on the Xbox 360 console, Microsoft has confirmed at E3 2013 that Minecraft is coming to the Xbox One next-gen console.

Minecraft became a huge success on the PC platform and it slowly spread to other platforms, including mobile devices, through the Pocket Edition, or even on the Xbox 360, where in only a year it managed to sell over 6 million units.

After the retail release of Minecraft on the Xbox 360, Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox One would also receive a Minecraft version in the near future.

The game was revealed during Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference and just a few concrete details were showcased.

Apparently, Minecraft for the Xbox One will feature larger maps, more ways to connect with others online, and other such improvements.
