Gamers will be able to attend a final in the City of Lights

Video game publisher Ubisoft announces that it is organizing a new tournament for its Might & Magic: Duel of Champions, called Road to Paris, which will consist of a number of qualifiers through the summer before a big finals event that will take place in France.

Qualifiers will take place monthly online and there are also real-world events happening at: PAX Australia in Melbourne, July 19-20, GenCon in Indianapolis, August 15-18, gamescom in Cologne, August 22-25, Fan Expo in Toronto, August 22-25 and Eurogamer in London, September 26-29.

Eight players will then be flown to Paris, France to participate in four days of competition in late October and early November.

Might & Magic: Duel of Champions uses the universe and many of the mechanics of the world that was created in 1986 and has since been used as a backdrop for role-playing and strategy titles.
