A limited number of players are interested in hardware specs

Yusuf Mehdi, a corporate vice president at Microsoft working on the launch of the Xbox One, says that the success of the coming console will not be determined by hardware specifications but by the titles that are launched for it.

The Official Xbox Magazine quotes the executive as telling investors that, “gamers buy for the game. They don’t buy for stats on a spec sheet. And if you look at the games we have, according to most industry experts now, a better lineup of games.”

It’s impossible to evaluate the titles prepared for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 before they are actually launched, but Sony and Microsoft seem to have a comparable line-up of release-ready experiences.

The two devices will both be offered in November and the biggest difference between them is the price.

The PlayStation 4 costs gamers 399 dollars or Euro, while the Xbox 360 is 499 dollars or Euro.
