14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft revealed yesterday a special video with Watch Dogs for the Xbox One, but the actual gameplay came from the PlayStation 4 edition of the title, as evidenced by the frame above.
Watch Dogs is one of the big cross-generation games coming to PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, and Xbox 360. Even if its launch was pushed back to 2014, many gamers are still looking forward to it.
In order to keep the hype going, Microsoft posted yesterday a video with Watch Dogs in action, detailing the hacking mechanics.
However, during a small bit of direct gameplay, it became clear that the footage came from the PlayStation 4 edition of Watch Dogs, not from the Xbox One version.
The video was removed from the Xbox YouTube channel, but you can still check it out below, while the incriminating frame has been captured above, showing the trademark PlayStation icons.
