A brand new report has surfaced concerning next-generation consoles, this time with a website claiming that one of its sources already knows about Microsoft's upcoming "Kinect 2" sensor and that the company is already offering prototypes to certain video game developers.
Next-generation consoles are almost certain to be revealed to the world this year, as both Microsoft and Sony are expected to present their Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 devices, respectively.
Now, CVG reports that one of its sources has heard that Microsoft is currently handing out new development kits of a so-called "Kinect 2" sensor.
Several European game studios are already working on the "next generation of motion control," according to the website, but Microsoft is keeping things under a shroud of secrecy.
While you should certainly take this report with a grain of salt, it's possible that Microsoft has already finished work on its Kinect 2.
