Metro: Last Light, the upcoming shooter from 4A Games and Deep Silver, has just received a brand new gameplay video titled "Salvation," which features a lot of impressive footage from the upcoming game and shares a bit more light onto its story.

Metro: Last Light is the sequel to Metro 2033 and, after the rights to the IP were acquired by Deep Silver due to THQ's bankruptcy, the new publisher quickly revealed that the title is going to appear in May.

Now, a brand new gameplay video has just been revealed, called Salvation.

The trailer consists of lots of new footage from the game, including many never-before-seen sequences.

It also highlights a few general fragments of the game's story, emphasizing that the protagonist, Artyom, has a much bigger role in the salvation of the humans who still dwell in the Moscow subway tunnels.

Metro: Last Light will come out on May 14, in North America, and May 17, in Europe, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
