Konami has apparently offered new info about its release estimates for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, confirming that it could end up appearing in late 2014 or 2015.

Metal Gear Solid 5 is split between the upcoming Ground Zeroes prologue and the full-fledged The Phantom Pain.

The company is launching Ground Zeroes this spring, but it's unclear when The Phantom Pain will appear.

According to a new Konami financial meeting, as Tweeted by analyst David Gibson, the Japanese company expects to release The Phantom Pain in either the third quarter of financial year 2015 or the third part of financial year 2016. In calendar years, this means either late 2014 or late 2015.

The final decision will be taken depending on the game's development stage but, as of right now, it's too early to say when the full-fledged Metal Gear Solid 5 experience will appear.
