Platinum Games, the developer of the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC edition has revealed that the title's maximum resolution is 1920x1080 (aka 1080p), meaning that those with bigger monitors won't be able to play it as intended.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance appeared for the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the beginning of the year and, since then, both developer Platinum Games and publisher Konami promised that a PC version would soon debut.

Now, after finally sharing a release date for that edition of Revengeance, as well as some more details, Platinum has confirmed a few technical aspects on Twitter.

First up, the game's maximum resolution is 1080p, meaning that those with bigger monitors won't be able to increase it.

The game does sport other custom options, including a Low, Medium, or High setting for Zangeki, which is the mechanic that controls how many cut objects are displayed and for how long they are scattered around the world.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is out on January 9 for PC.
