Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is getting ready to debut for the PC this week, and Konami has confirmed that it's currently looking into the pretty serious region locking imposed on the new title.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance appeared last year for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and currently Platinum Games is working hard on bringing the hack and slash action title onto the PC later this week.

Unfortunately, it seems that this new version of Revengeance is affected by some serious region locking, as Konami took the decision to split the game into multiple variations for many countries or continents.

Fans have complained about this issue, and Platinum Games has confirmed that it's forwarded the feedback to Konami and that the publisher is looking into the matter.

What's more, the studio has also revealed on Twitter that, while it can't implement support for resolutions higher than 1080p in Revengeance, it will take into consideration the desire for higher ones, like 1440p when it makes future PC games.
