Video game developer Turbine has announced that it will launch the closed beta stage for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Menace of the Underdark on May 10 and that all those who have pre-ordered the expansion will be able to take part and offer the development team feedback on the game mechanics and the new settings.

Menace of the Underdark will allow players to explore a number of new regions much loved by the fans of the Dungeons & Dragons universe, including the Underdark and its Dark Elf cities.

Gamers will also get access to new skills to use, a new Druid class and epic destinies for characters.

Various pre-order packs for Menace of the Underdark will also deliver a number of new objects and companions to players.

The full expansion will be arriving on June 25 for all interested players and will be integrated into the free-to-play structure of Dungeons & Dragons Online.
