The add-on will just bring new character kits and weapons

After confirming to the world that Mass Effect 3 will receive its final multiplayer add-on, in the form of the Reckoning DLC, BioWare has now revealed that it won't include any new modes or maps, instead focusing on new characters and weapons.

Mass Effect 3's cooperative multiplayer mode has been a runaway success, allowing owners of the game to work together and use all sorts of characters with different powers.

Now, BioWare has revealed that the last add-on for the co-op mode, the Reckoning DLC, will be released next week, on February 26.

When asked on Twitter if the new expansion included any new modes or maps, the studio replied saying that it was only going to include new character kits and weapons.

Among them, there will be the Krogan Warlord, the Geth Juggernaut, the Female Turian Cabal Vanguard, the Talon Mercenary, and the Alliance Infiltration Unit, not to mention guns like the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle.
