The development team at Gazillion working on Marvel Heroes announces that the game is now launching an entirely new Team-Up game mode, which allows gamers to recruit their favorite heroes in order to battle villains like Doctor Doom and Loki.

In the official announcement the company explains that, "Team-Ups are a brand new game feature based on the Marvel Team-Up comic series starting in 1972. You can now recruit a few of your favorite heroes to fight alongside you all throughout the game."

The new mode introduces three different styles of play, with the recruited companions either getting into the middle of combat alongside the player character or used off screen in order to offer extra protection.

There are plenty of new opportunities for the community to explore and the first four heroes that Marvel Heroes introduces to Team-Up are Spider-Man, Magik, Firestar and the new Falcom from the Captain America: The Winter Soldier movie.

Each of the heroes has special abilities based on their comic book universe incarnations and can be used in interesting ways by the players.

The development team at Gazillion says that the new feature will be enhanced in the coming months and invites all fans of Marvel Heroes to offer their feedback and suggest which other heroes should be added.
