A man from Sydney, Australia, has broken the world record for the longest gaming marathon of all time, managing to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for more than 135 hours.

Gaming marathons usually have some really bad outcomes, as we reported on a variety of incidents which resulted in the death of players.

Australian sales manager Okan Kaya decided to face these risks and went on a marathon gaming session of 135 hours, according to Wired.

His accomplishment was verified by the Guinness World Records book, which confirmed that he had overtaken the previous record holders, a Canadian duo that played Resistance on the PlayStation 3 for 120 hours.

Even if Kaya doesn’t look that good in the picture above, he was allowed to take 10 minute breaks every hour, which could be accumulated, meaning he had some time to sleep and give his body time to relax.
