Electronic Arts has just deployed a major round of discounts on its Origin digital distribution service, this time slashing the prices on a variety of action games for the PC platform.

EA’s Origin has, slowly but surely, become pretty popular with PC gamers, largely because it’s the only way to access recent games made by the company, including Battlefield 3 or Need for Speed: The Run.

Now, in order to draw in even more users, EA has decided to run a bunch of discounts on the service, as part of Origin Loves Action sales spree.

As such, great titles from franchises like Mass Effect or Dead Space, not to mention games like Mirror’s Edge, Dragon Age II, Bulletstorm, Shank or Medal of Honor, have seen their prices slashed by a considerable margin.
