The team at EA Sports working on Madden NFL 25 announces that the special All-Star team that will be part of the game will be led from the quarterback position by Michael Vick, who is currently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The basis for his inclusion in the team that will be coached by John Madden himself is the performance he put in when Madden NFL 2004 was launched.

The developers say that Vick was such a dominant force because of his speed and his ability to throw in such a way that anyone who used another quarterback was not able to win against a team led by the star.

EA Sports made changes to the core game mechanics in order to limit his abilities and make sure that he was not overpowered.

Madden NFL 25 is set to arrive on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on August 27 and the Xbox One and the PS4 will get versions powered by the Ignite engine.
