Before the real world Super Bowl on Sunday, the development team at EA Sports has used the Madden NFL 15 simulation to put on its own major event, the Madden Bowl XXI, which has been entirely streamed over the Twitch service.

The 2-hour-long footage features appearances from Kevin Hart and Michelle Beadle and a special half-time show.

There’s also plenty of American virtual football action with all the matches played using the Ultimate Team mode, with real world players using virtual replicas to battle for the trophy.

EA Sports is saying that Madden NFL 15 is predicting that the Super Bowl XLIX will be won by the New England Patriots, who will manage to defeat the Seattle Seahawks by 28 to 24.

Tom Brady is set to get the Most Valuable Player trophy and the studio says that the game will feature some impressive touchdowns and defensive plays.

Until Sunday, fans of the sport will also be able to enjoy a range of Super Bowl content in Ultimate Team, including players with updated stats and more Coin Up action.

They can also pick up a special version of the game, with more player packs, for a reduced price until February 2.
