14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Turbine and publisher Warner Bros. announce that they will be launching a new expansion for their MMO The Lord of the Rings Online, called Helm’s Deep, during the fall.
The new content will give players a chance to take part in the legendary battle while advancing to a new level cap of 95.
Kate Paiz, the executive producer on The Lord of the Rings Online, states, “With Helm’s Deep, we’re bringing the War of the Ring to players on a monumental scale.”
She adds, “Our team is thrilled to create another iconic moment in Middle-earth, and put players in the center of the action.”
New areas that players will be able to explore include the Westemnet of Rohan, Dunharrow and Hornbug.
Gamers will also have a chance to interact with Aragorn, Eowyn and Eomer as they continue to follow the story of the Fellowship of the Ring.
