The atmospheric puzzle platformer is making its way onto the Vita

Limbo, the atmospheric side-scrolling puzzle platformer from Playdead, is going to be released on the PlayStation Vita later this year, bringing its dark experience to the hands of Vita owners from around the world.

Limbo impressed millions of gamers from around the world in recent years as it first appeared on the Xbox 360 and then made its way onto other platforms like the PC or PlayStation 3.

The independent downloadable title was even released as a retail experience with other goodies and has gotten a lot of people interested in its developer, Playdead.

Now, the studio has revealed, via IGN, that Limbo is going to appear on the PlayStation Vita handheld platform.

As of yet, it's unclear when the downloadable puzzle platformer will appear on the portable console or what new features it's going to include, so expect to hear more details in the near future.
