14 DAY TRIAL // The Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII demo is out on Xbox Live, and landing tomorrow (January 22) on the PlayStation Network, for the PlayStation 3.
The demo reaches fans of the Final Fantasy series ahead of Square Enix's role-playing game's official international launch, set for mid-February.
The demo is meant to let players try out the upcoming game in order to decide if they should purchase it upon launch, and to showcase the new battle mechanics that have been implemented in-game, as well as Lightning's customization options.
The Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII demo, available now on Xbox Live, will also provide the social features integrated in the upcoming game, players being able to post their scores on Facebook and Twitter from in-game.
Square Enix has also thought of another attraction for its fans, as players who manage to defeat the final boss in the demo and then post their scores on the social media outlets will receive a Siegfried costume, for the full version of the game.
