Remember Me developer Dontnod and publisher Square Enix have just announced that the former's next project, called Life Is Strange, will make its debut on PC and consoles on January, 2015.

The game was initially revealed back in August, but not many details were disclosed at that time except that it will be an episodic adventure game.

Today, Square Enix confirmed that the first episode in the Life Is Strange series will be launched on January 30. It will be digitally available on PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Players who want to try the first episode out before buying the whole series will only have to pay $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99, while the Season Pass, that includes access to all five episodes, will cost $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99.

The game is already available for pre-order via Square Enix's online store, but before doing that we recommend watching the reveal trailer that has just been released by the publisher.

From what we can tell, Life Is Strange is a Heavy Rain meets Gone Home type of game, so it's definitely worthy of our attention.

There might be more assets revealed before the official release of the game, but until then, the 2-minute trailer is all we got.
