14 DAY TRIAL // Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham received a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2014, showing the evil deeds of Brainiac and setting up the events in the upcoming video game, and Warner Bros Interactive has released it today, for all the world to see.
The trailer reveals Brainiac's plan to shrink Earth and take control of his enemies by using the power of the Lantern Rings, and the super heroes of the DC Comics universe have to join forces with their former enemies, the Legion of Doom, and embark on a journey that will take them all across the Lantern Worlds, in order to stop the evildoer from adding Earth to his growing collection of planets.
Following the events of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the nefarious Brainiac has to be stopped from growing his collection of worlds, and Batman, Superman, Joker, Lex Luthor, Solomon Grundy and Cheetah get ready to begin their adventure.
The upcoming game will feature over 150 characters from the DC Universe and the Batman series, and features voice acting from Troy Baker and other series mainstays, including Adam West, who will voice a Lego version of himself.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is scheduled to come out sometime in Q3/Q4 2014, headed for the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and iOS.
