Almost Human Games has announced that pre-orders for the upcoming dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock 2 are now open for everyone, releasing a nice teaser trailer to outline some of the action that players will be busy taking part in soon.

The story follows a group of prisoners who have shipwrecked on the Isle of Nex, a secluded location where players will have to use their brawn and wits in order to survive.

The island is filled with ancient ruins, mysterious shrines, as well as a vast network of underground tunnels and dungeons, which is one way of saying that it's some sort of a brave adventurer theme park.

The game retains its lauded predecessor's grid-based movement system, and challenges gamers with even more skill-testing dungeon crawling action, with secret doors, pressure plates, hidden switches, and deadly enemy waiting on every square.

The first installment in the series established a winning recipe, geared toward a very particular niche, fans of difficult old-school role-playing games, ready to overcome testing challenges and to solve mind-boggling puzzles while making their way through seemingly endless dungeons.

Legend of Grimrock 2 is coming out on October 15, 2014, and if you pre-order it on the company's website, you can get it for 15 percent off.
