Video game publisher SEGA and developer Valve are announcing that their titles Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Left 4 Dead 2 will be playable for free via the Steam digital distribution service this weekend.

All those interested can download the games and see what they have to offer until Monday at 10 AM Pacific Time.

Left 4 Dead 2 is also offered with a big 75 percent reduction from its regular price.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a cartoon racing title with arcade mechanics that focuses on a fun experience and allows gamers to explore some well-designed courses and use a range of characters from the SEGA panoply.

Left 4 Dead 2 is an entirely different experience that asks players to cooperate with other survivors to battle hordes of undead and special enemies in order to traverse a series of levels.
