Gamers might have to wait a few minute for the process to be completed

The development team at Valve announces that it is converting the entire content delivery system for its Left 4 Dead 2 video game to SteamPipe.

The new process is designed to make it easier for the studio to deliver new levels and game tweaks without asking the player to constantly update their game.

Valve states, "The conversion may take some time, but it will only happen once and doesn't require the download of any new files."

SteamPipe is currently linked to the titles that Valve has created internally but the solution might soon become part of the standard package for Steam partnerships.

Despite its age Left 4 Dead 2, the cooperative zombie combat title, still gets constant updates from Valve and the fan community is also delivering new levels for the game.
