14 DAY TRIAL // Riot Games confirms that it's going to conclude the special Ultra Rapid Fire mode event for its League of Legends online game, meaning players have until 2am PDT on April 13 to continue enjoying the fast-paced experience.
Ultra Rapid Fire launched as an April Fools game mode last year for League of Legends, removing mana and resource costs on the spells employed by champions, and kicking the speed of the whole game to new heights. It was an instant classic and Riot brought the game mode back this year for April Fools, after first tricking fans that it was slowing everything down with the New Ultra Rapid Fire mode.
However, all things must come to an end and Riot confirms on the official website that Ultra Rapid Fire mode is going to be taken back to the Featured Game Mode workshop on April 13 at 2am PDT. As such, players should hurry if they want to still enjoy the experience and win the Thinking Manatee icon that's awarded upon finishing an Ultra Rapid Fire match.
Don't forget that, as part of the event, quite a few icons, skins, and other such things are also available for purchase, so grab them as soon as possible.
