14 DAY TRIAL // Riot Games confirms that, for the next two weeks, it's rolling out a special Party Rewards system that offers bonus IP for those who play with their friends in a match, in order to make the whole multiplayer game a more attractive experience.
League of Legends is one of the most popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) experiences out there, but in recent times things have been getting much more challenging for developer Riot Games, as Dota 2 shows no signs of stopping from its growth, while Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm is becoming bigger and bigger, despite being in closed beta.
As such, after rolling out a new Refer-a-Friend system with great rewards, Riot confirms on its website that a new Party Rewards system is available for the next two weeks.
As such, if you create a party with anywhere between one or four friends, you'll get bonus the amount of IP from a match. The amount is random but it can reach up to 16 times the regular sum for a full team of friends.
The system is currently offered as a trial experience, and depending on its popularity and effect on the game, it might be implemented permanently in the future, so stay tuned for more info in the months to come, once Riot combs through its data.
