Ubisoft has released a new patch for the PC version of its hit action adventure video game Watch Dogs, addressing some of the performance issues that users encountered when playing the title.

The patch is geared towards solving some of the stuttering issues that most PC gamers encountered while using High textures, and optimizes the game's performance in many other ways.

According to the development team, the patch will drastically reduce the instances of stuttering during gameplay, but those who wish to enjoy the game with the Ultra textures may still encounter various performance issues such as stuttering and other side effects, especially if they don't have enough VRAM.

In addition to the stuttering issues, the patch also fixes various NAT type error messages, an issue at the Poker Table, where the button appeared to be corrupted after being pulled from the surveillance camera when Aiden is dealing the cards, as well as some weapon wheel issues that prevented the shotgun from being selected with the mouse.

Furthermore, the patch also enables a fix for PCs with multiple network interfaces, as well as a problem that caused crashes on the loading screen, after interacting with the slot machine from Mad Mile.

No word on when Ubisoft is planning to release the high-quality features that were stripped from the PC version of the game but are still within the client files.
