NetherRealm Studios has done a very good job with Mortal Kombat X, delivering what is probably the most exciting installment in the long-running fighting video game series.

One of the reasons MKX is such an alluring experience, aside from all the gruesome violence and brutal, graphic visuals, is the fact that it comes with a ton of new characters, in addition to some of the franchise's mainstays.

As such, the studio has released a special DLC pack including the notorious horror character Jason Voorhees, the hockey mask wearing, machete wielding madman.

The bundle includes not only the star of the "Friday the 13th" horror movie series but also three new skins for Mileena, Ermac and Reptile. You can get the pack either separately or part of the Kombat Pack DLC, which will also net you access to three more upcoming characters, Predator, Tanya and Tremor.

Speaking of which, the latest MKX Kombat Kast livestream from the game's makers delivers a ton of gameplay footage showing Jason's spine-chilling arsenal of moves, and also offering us a glimpse of Predator, the Ultimate Hunter, which is the next scheduled playable character.
